Architectural History of University – Tour

Join Alexandra Fairclough, Blue Badge Tourist Guide, heritage professional and School of Architecture postgraduate here at The University of Manchester, for an engrossing tour of the University’s historic campus.

Taking in the celebrated buildings along Oxford Road, Alexandra will lead you on a captivating journey to discover a rich and varied architectural history. You’ll explore distinctive styles of architecture around campus – spotting decorative motifs along the way – and learn the stories of the talented architects who designed them.

The tour will take around 60 minutes, so be sure to wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes.
