Audience Suitable for all

State of Mind Sport is a team of mental health and sports professionals delivering education sessions across the UK – and in this revealing talk it brings two ex-professional Rugby League players to share personal experiences around mental fitness.

The discussion will cover important topics such as mental health conditions, suicide prevention and substance abuse. Their advice, however, extends beyond the sporting world.

They will openly discuss their own journeys, sharing tips on building resilience, setting goals, overcoming adversity and supporting others’ wellbeing; their relatable style making this typically heavy subject more approachable.

With time allocated for audience questions, you’ll be able to further explore these critical topics. Please note that suicide will be referenced.

This honest conversation promises valuable insights on prioritising your wellness – from those who have been there.

If sitting closer to the stage during this talk would be beneficial, when you arrive at the tent please speak to a member of the volunteer team who will be able to assist you.
