Out of this World! with Jodrell Bank Alien Eamonn Kerins

We know that our star, the Sun, has eight planets, including Earth – our home. But do other stars in our Galaxy have planets, and are any of them like Earth?

Jodrell Bank Alien will beam down to Earth to tell us more about what astronomers are finding out about other worlds out there, and whether it’s possible some of them may have life on them.

When not racing around the Galaxy, Jodrell Bank Alien is usually found disguising himself as exoplanet scientist, Dr Eamonn Kerins, from Manchester’s Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics. Both are friendly and come in peace in the service of all humankind.

Tickets for this talk, part of our Bee Curious programme, will be released later in May. While a limited number may be available for drop-in visitors on the day, we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment
