The Research Platforms have once again teamed up with local art collective, Grit Studios to present ‘The Art of Research’ a vibrant showcase of artwork inspired by research at the University of Manchester. Featuring contributions from Healthier Futures, Digital Futures, Creative Manchester, and Sustainable Futures, the exhibition highlights how local street artists brought to life the essence and impact of the University’s research platforms.

If you’ve ever wondered what the University’s research is all about, why it matters, and how it benefits our wider community, this is your chance to explore it in a creative way.

But that’s not all—you can release your inner Banksy by creating your own street art along our trail. Join a series of free workshops running throughout Saturday, where you can get hands-on with sprays and stencils and take home your very own piece of street art.
